rfouasnon Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 The Hood was supposed to have been sunk by a direct hit to the munitions bunker.....and the ship went up in a single explosion , I believe....no ship showing in the background sliding into the the sea like the Titanic....it was there one minute , the next minute a huge explosion , and the ship was toast . On a side note , the Bismarck was thought to be one of the most perfect battleships of the war by many naval design authorities....a pity a 1 in a 100 shot took out the ships rudder....could have been an interesting fight , one ship against many......in the end , her own crew sunk the Bismarck , not the British warships..... the Wolf Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 Well the weather was nice, excellent visibility, nice targets, I thought I had made myself clear a turn of 8 ago but some just don't seem to listen very well... No island nations on our beloved continent pleazzzzeeeee! Well, very well... They always say that important messages have to be repeated 3 times, so I guess another round should do it.
