Kurassier
and I'm still here, fighting on! Not against Persia any more ! I am glad to announce you that at the moment we are officially at peace. I'm executing UAE spies by the dozen and they keep coming... If we ever get Vic II the EM order should get at least a -20% penalty if your treasury is negative. That one is second spot in my list of stupid metagaming bullshit (right after all the delay crap). I'll FP you on turn 73. Any sooner and I know I'll run into ceded provinces the next major attack. You can issue the FP order against me, but it won't work. It won't stop the espionnage, but the last Persian turn it definatety worked as designed: FP UAE. The official Emirate government has accepted the hand of peace extended by the Persian Emissaries in xAbudhabi. Both countries have committed themselves to a non-agression pact. The new protectorate of the Persian Emirates boasts a healthy economy, with a net. export of oil, fuel, general supplies and voluteers for the fight against the Viking hordes. Most popular sport is scuba diving, making use of the many artificial reefs before the coast of xBandar Abbas.

Harbinger of Death
Regarding Hungary, I am just trembling with fear. . . If he wants to strike into 50 P-51's every turn, have at it. I can use the points. Deathwalker US-87 I think you will find I am a little bit smarter than that and a whole lot wiser. Wont be long now until you must face me, be it in the air, on land or at sea. You and your Canadian buddy have been having too much fun at my Italian brothers expense. You will pay a high price for your indecretions. I guess by smarter you meant that you'd fly into my 50xSpitfires instead Jared I admit it was a little painful but now we know how important that airbase is too you you can bet your gold teeth were never going to leave it alone. I see that.....feel free to continue to send those unescorted MB into my airspace. Jared
dageraad
New map for turn 49: - Italy seems to have stabilized the situation in central Italy, but at the expense of the Alpine front, Still, Italy is not down yet and its allies make their prensence known. - Great Britain is fighting for its life and seems to be losing. What will Norway do next? - Baltic states is sending reinforcements to the east: Tanks of a strange, boxy construction, broad tracks and equipped with a huge gun. Lucky for us, there aren't that many of them. Yet. And the thing has no sloped armor. Yet. And The Icelanders have nothing like it. Yet. - Those icelanders have begun throuwing whole Airborne divisions into the fight. The Persian strategic command has increased the production of pitchforks to cope with this threat. - The Poles and Iraqi's have had another exchange. Only a slight advantage on the material front for the Iraqi's, but important tactical gains were made in the plan to break out of the Ukraine. The Poles too seem to be equipped with the same boxy things on tracks. - Algeria destroyed another airbase, Transjordan destroyed a lot of bombers. Peace feelers from the middle east were shot down. IF the Middle East Alliance were so good to vacate Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, a peace is not unthinkable.

If the Baltic States would now send his air force east also, perhaps we could stabilize the situation in GB. Those JU-88's have got to be tired of fighting through Spitfires. Having just gotten back Norway's results I am afraid it would take a lot more than Baltic AF being redeployed to stabilize things. Still, your tenacious and skilled defense up to this point ensures I will take nothing for granted. My guess would be that the BS air force (which didn't see a single Spitfire last turn) will get in another heavy blow or two before redeployment. My production in GB is bound to be greater than yours at this point so even lesser tactical skill should prevail in the end (I hope...) dageraad
New map: - The Algerians have initiated a new round of airpoints exchange for a total of 25k this turn. No land offensive, he's probably waiting for the Panther. - Poland is withdrawing to better defendable lines and waiting for the Panther. - Finland and Baltic states have increased their commitment to the eastern front, but no big concentrations visible on the front yet. He is probably waiting for the Panther? The front seems bogged down in the mud and most combat is done by light units. - Great Britain is falling. Will it yet see Panthers on its holy ground? I believe the Finns tested the Pink Panther, but it was made of taffeta which neither stopped anti-tank shells nor kept the crews warm in a N Russian winter....
