Friends, countrymen and to all the peoples of Europe, Northern Africa, Middle East and the United States of America-

The proud colors of the Czechs - Red, White and Blue - still wave - but not from the dusty charming windowsills and ornate wooden flagpoles built over centuries by the joyful people of that great nation. The Czech flag is now but a haggard patch, hastily sewn as an armband or bandage for soldiers and citizens both young and old. The red fabric is easier to find in these dark days.

As most of you know, the once teeming city of Prague was ravaged by the Austrian machines of war on Tuesday, January 6. Czechoslovakia is no longer a free nation.

Hungary has devoured Czechoslovakia's calm countryside and wayward hamlets, famous for hospitable cookery and lavish entertainment. Even the tennis courts were razed, and replaced with airfields, choked with fuel for their Russian equipment and the tread of their dreary tanks.

The Hungarians now eye the amber fields of this proud Poland. Every man, woman and child is at the ready for the expected carnage. Poland will not be made to cower in response to the tremendous good fortune enjoyed by the greedy Austrian-Hungarian regime.

German liberals have interrupted a policy of war against Austria for too long and we expect Victor Von Doom to prevail into the heart of Austria and help us liberate the proud lands of fallen Czechoslovakia.

Therefore, good neighbors, do not count us out! A lazy Austrian-Hungarian publicist once labeled the German-Poland-Czech Federation as a "Tricycle of Destruction" - in an attempt to disparage our natures and further justify their myopic desire for bloodshed.

I submit to you, that the largest wheel of that "tricycle" remains Czechoslovakia - patriots all - who sacrificed their very lives to stand up to the Austrian-Hungarian regime!

The White Eagle of Poland dons the breast of every Polish citizen-warrior. We are ready, every last fight, a tribute to the fun-loving peoples of Czechoslovakia. Lest we stand alone, we will fall with grace.

Do not celebrate the loss of Czechoslovakia - but rather embrace their courage!

For war is all things but kind, especially stupid, but most of all, inferior to the bravery of its victims.

Ummm, I think that would be a error in your information.... :drunk:

The vaunted tricycle of destruction, was coined by your friendly, always ready to drink Irish.

Just thought I would clearify that.

But it makes good reading anyway...

Looking forward to arriving at a place near you soon.
