Well, that's an afternoon wasted. A heads-up would have helped. Things take as long as they take, certainly, but when we're told "it just isn't going to be possible for a morning sending" it kinda pointed at the afternoon, didn't it.

Ah well. Life goes on, then one day it doesn't. The rest is just there to keep things interesting.

Actually Pete said it would be "later on Saturday". That doesn't really point to anything except that it would be sometime on saturday and not in the morning. Considering the way that large battles can delay the sending out of turn results I think it is best to plan for receiving results sometime before monday, and be progressively happier the sooner they show up.

New record...my turns reached 1500 pages this turn...becoming a bit unwieldy to say the least even in the electronic format...

Just be glad they don't charge 10 cents per page

holy smokes. can you imagine sending that via snail mail? Thats nearly 15 pounds of paper!!!

Double sided printing would get it down to a 'feather weight' level of around 7 pounds. Of paper and toner! If an ex-US player, sounds like a trip to the FedEx, DHL, UPS or other package delivery outpost. And here I complain about nearly 200 pages of electronic output to sift through for each position.

Making the basic assumption that we all do "want our turns" now, if not, sooner!, we have to remember, Pete has never failed. (He has often delayed us,but never failed us.

With any kind of luck, we can get them to hint as to when the cookies will be done (or expect them to be done). That's where Russ excells. He has a head for business and knows that every late turn, related suicide is a dent in the bottom line. Thus motivated, Russ can be a real help.

So, did you type all those demands? Use copy and paste? A macro? Slave labor?

Just curious.

Oh,

We want turns!
