President Guztov
Holy Cow!!! What are the odds? I too was born 39 years ago on the 13th of January. I was born at 11:59 am one minute shy of High noon.
crossroads
What is the standaard these days. Save many setup points for tech or spend them all in the setup?
MadMartinB
Save 600 or so...and you should be fine. I have one "core empire" that I saved 700 on and I'm still buying tech.

Henry Morgan
Will there be any new alliances or trade cartels forming in the Mooney Cluster?
MadMartinB
The Vegas trade route will be established. In all honesty I am not sure how close they all are. I joined with plenty of players and my contacts have only been with one core empire (joined same time as me) and One player who joined 12-14 turns after me. PS - Redcoats make good targets for "vile" buccaneers.
Henry Morgan
PS - Redcoats make good targets for "vile" buccaneers. Aye, just as vile braggart buccaneers make jolly good targets for every one of their neighbours.
MadMartinB
Aye but the Redcoat needs to figure out how to get out of the port of Jamaica... I would start with sails and work to steam before nuclear engines and such...just my 2 cents on the British Fleet... Yo ho, Yo ho!
ShadowKitsune
I would start with sales and work to steam before nuclear engines and such...just my 2 cents on the British Fleet... Sales?! I know that folks in Marketing have a tendency towards hot air and bluster, but I don't think that they'll work too well as a motive force. -SK
MadMartinB
eh well it's the new quarter and I the sales guy for the company. What can I say.
hobknob
The general feeling is that it is wise to leave yourself several hundred startup points to play with. I probably would not keep more than about 800 though and you could easily get by with less.
