Finally I have broke out of Rumania and have nothing but daylight ahead Not sure how you guys manipulated Canada into totally allying with one of you guys but it was a major pain in my ass trying to fly through central russia. It's not that we couldn't find your forces but a mission cancellation problem. That and a lack of intell and a month without a computer. Ronald Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 Not sure how you guys manipulated Canada into totally allying with one of you guys but it was a major pain in my ass trying to fly through central russia. actually no manipulation at all.. i've been totally allied to saudi arabia since turn 30? or so? really cant remember anymore... either way its been a very long time. a matter of knowing eachother from way back when we played victory! in holland. not very valuable provinces there in russia.. but in a way it must be some sort of record holding territory on both ends of the map. And let's not forget it took some precious turns for our friends to find out you owned them, just enough to get all those crappy old fighters upgraded to state of the art... I don't know how I ever played this game without it. And let's not forget it took some precious turns for our friends to find out you owned them, just enough to get all those crappy old fighters upgraded to state of the art... Yea well a special thanks to Saudi's pilots for intercepting my fighter groups and running out of gas and having to land just as my unescorted bombers came in to attack the airbase at kovrov. That could have been ugly.......... Didn't take but one turn to decipher Canada was the culprit. Problem was we all had NAP's with him. Russ says not enough sign-ups yet to even guess at a start date for game #80. I hate being in only one game at a time. It only takes a few of us to keep Vic80 on the top line by replying on it and irritating past and present enemies to join that game of all games... But now I am back in lol I am playing the last few turns just to see how My county did. I wish I could of gotten back in sooner but thats life. Sweden has 19,909 ship kills, 67,669 air kills, and 59,810 ground kills and we boast owning six nations capitols. That hardly sounds like 72 turns of crappy results. I think this is the most players finishing in any of the games I have been involved in. I must say it has been one of the most enjoyable although my numbers are not as high as in other games. Special congratulations to France over 80,000 kills in both air and arms and an income per turn of over 40,000 with one turn to run. I hope to see you all in 80. Who won in Rumania? Predator Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 Who won in Rumania? I think there is still one Egyptian army remaining in rumania that I can't reach. I am currently sitting in the capitol of Bulgaria wondering if there are any enemy troops besides Libya's decimated force at Nikopol that I will finish off this turn. Clearly The Northen Alliance has won in rumania/ bulgaria. NADS has ganged up on our brother in Northern Russia and overrun the stronghold at xMoscow. That was a city we hoped to control at the end of the game. Congratulations to the enemy on their perseverance. On another note Saudi lost 3 bombers groups, some fighters, and a few transports (23,000+ air kills) last turn to the brave Swedish airborne divisions who risked all in a last ditch effort to thwart the enemies plans. Perhaps we have yet one more suprise for them on the last turn. This has been a very entertaining game and I hope that all the survivors (including Algeria) will sign up for game 80.
